How to Make Perfect Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes

Nothing says breakfast like warm, fluffy pancakes. In fact, pancakes can be an anytime meal with easy to make Complete Buttermilk Pancake and Waffle Mix from Pioneer®.

Buttermilk Pancakes Recipe
4-inch pancakes MIX WATER
6 – 7 1 cup 3⁄4 cup
12 – 14 2 cups 1 1⁄2 cups
18 – 21 3 cups 2 1⁄4 cups
  1. Preheat griddle to 375° F.
  2. Lightly coat the surface with a cooking spray then wipe with a paper towel to spread evenly.
  3. Mix Pioneer® Complete Buttermilk Pancake & Waffle Mix and water. Start by pouring the water into a bowl. Then whisk in the pancake mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Don’t over mix. The batter should be slightly lumpy.
  5. Let the batter rest for about 5 minutes.
  6. Ladle the batter to make 4 inch cakes.
  7. Cook pancakes 1 1⁄2 minutes per side.
  8. Turn when bubbles break and edges start to dry (turn only once).

NOTE: For thicker pancakes, use a little less water; for thinner pancakes, use a little more water.
