BISCUIT PREPARATION

1 pkg. Pioneer Buttermilk Baking Mix
1/2 Cup milk
2 Tbsp. butter, melted

PREHEAT over to 450°F
MIX ingredients well. TURN onto floured surface; SHAPE into ball. KNEAD 3 to 4 time. ROLL or pat to 1/2-inch thickness.
CUT with 2-inch cutter without twisting.
PLACE together on lightly oiled baking sheet.
BAKE 11 to 13 minutes. BRUSH with melted butter.
YIELD: 8 to 10 biscuits

WAFFLE PREPARATION

1 pkg. Pioneer Buttermilk Baking Mix
1 Cup milk
1 Egg
1 to 2Tbsp. butter, melted (optional)

HEAT lightly oiled griddle or waffle iron to 375°F.
MIX ingredients until smooth.
ADD melted butter, if desired.
COOK pancakes 1 to 2 minutes per side (turn only once); COOK waffles 2 to 3 minutes.

YIELD:
10 to 12 5-inch pancakes
8 to 10 4-inch waffles
