1. Preheat oven to 325˚F.
2. Whisk together the sherry, orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and Pioneer Brown Gravy Mix. Pour this mixture into a shallow roasting pan.
3. In a large sauté pan, char the diced onion in 1 tbsp. of oil. Add the onions to the roasting pan.
4. Season both sides of the pork ribs with salt and pepper. Using the same pan, seer both sides of the pork ribs with the left over oil until crisp and golden brown. Place the ribs in the roasting pan and cover the pan with foil.
5. Bake in oven 2 hours, or until pork is fork tender. Remove the foil, spoon the sauce on top of the ribs and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes to create a glaze.
6. Garnish with green onions and cilantro.
