Chocolate Marble Bars Recipe
Chewy Chocolate Marble Bars are the bar cookie that offers the best of both worlds — swirls of vanilla and dark chocolate baked into a dense, chewy base that pulls apart in satisfying squares and tastes as good as it looks on the baking rack.

Ingredients
2 cups Pioneer® Original Biscuit & Baking Mix or Pioneer Buttermilk Biscuit & Baking Mix
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1 ½ cups light brown sugar, packed
¾ cup butter or margarine, melted
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
These Chocolate Marble Bars are made with Pioneer Original or Buttermilk Baking Mix for the perfectly chewy, rich base that gives these swirled bars their irresistible texture and that crowd-pleasing chocolate and vanilla flavor in every bite.
Instructions
- Melt Chocolate Mixture
In 4-cup glass measure, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and 1 tablespoon butter.
- Microwave Until Smooth
Microwave on High for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring after every 30 seconds. Stir until chocolate is melted.
- Mix Wet Ingredients
In large mixing bowl, stir together brown sugar, 3/4 cup butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Add Baking Mix and Oats
Stir in Pioneer Baking Mix and oats until well combined.
- Press Batter into Pan
Spoon 2/3 of the batter into a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan that has been coated with cooking spray; press to flatten.
- Drop Chocolate Over Batter
Drop chocolate mixture by teaspoonfuls over batter.
- Swirl and Marble
Drop teaspoonfuls of remaining batter over top of chocolate; swirl together with tip of knife or wooden pick.
- Bake Until Set
Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until bars are light golden brown and center is almost set.
- Cool and Cut Bars
Cool completely. Cut into bars.
