Easy Fruit Cobbler Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup Pioneer® Original Biscuit & Baking Mix or Buttermilk Biscuit & Baking Mix
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup half and half
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 cans (21 oz) fruit pie filling or fruit of choice
This Easy Fruit Cobbler Recipe uses Pioneer Original or Buttermilk Baking Mix for the golden, tender topping that makes this versatile cobbler the easiest scratch-style dessert in your whole repertoire.
Instructions
- Heat the Oven
Heat oven to 375°F.
- Make the Dough
Mix sugar and Pioneer Baking Mix. Cut in butter. Mix in half & half and vanilla.
- Chill the Dough
Shape dough into ball and refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Heat the Fruit
Pour fruit into 7 x 11 pan; heat 10 minutes.
- Top with Dough
Roll chilled dough out on floured surface. Place over hot fruit.
- Bake Until Golden
Bake 25 minutes or until golden.
- Finish with Butter and Sugar
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
