Sausage-and-Gravy Breakfast Burrito Recipe
Sausage and Gravy Breakfast Burritos are the morning meal upgrade that makes every weekday feel a little more worth getting out of bed for — creamy country gravy and crumbled breakfast sausage wrapped up with scrambled eggs and cheddar in a warm flour tortilla that holds everything together perfectly. Make these on Sunday and reheat them all week without any regrets.

Ingredients
2 cups water, divided
1 (1.41 oz) pkg Pioneer® Country Gravy Mix
1 lb breakfast sausage
8 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
10 (8-inch) flour tortillas
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Fresh sliced chives, for garnish
This Sausage-and-Gravy Breakfast Burrito uses Pioneer Country Gravy Mix for the rich, creamy gravy that ties the sausage and eggs together inside every warm, cheese-filled burrito and makes this the most satisfying breakfast wrap you can make at home.
Instructions
- Make the Country Gravy
Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Meanwhile, whisk together Pioneer Country Gravy Mix and remaining water in a small bowl. Pour gravy mixture into the boiling water, whisking constantly until completely smooth and thickened, about 1 minute. Set aside.
- Cook the Sausage
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook, breaking apart into crumbles, until no pink remains, about 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- Scramble the Eggs
In the same pan, heat butter over medium-low heat. Beat eggs, salt and pepper in a medium bowl until combined. Add egg mixture to the skillet and cook, breaking into pieces until scrambled, about 3 minutes.
- Fill and Roll the Burritos
Onto each tortilla evenly divide sausage, eggs, cheese and gravy. Garnish with chives. Roll each tortilla, tucking in the sides, to make burritos, and serve.
