Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
2 bananas, large and mashed
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups Pioneer® All Purpose Flour
4 tbsp butter, melted
1 cup chocolate chips
These Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are made with Pioneer baking mix for the light, tender crumb that lets the ripe banana flavor and melted chocolate take center stage in every single muffin.
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 375°F
- Prepare the Muffin Tray
Line a muffin tray with greased muffin cups.
- Mix Wet Ingredients
In a bowl whisk together mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, and egg.
- Sift Dry Ingredients
Sift together baking powder, salt, and Pioneer Flour.
- Combine Wet and Dry
Fold in dry mixture until just combined.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips
Add chocolate chips and continue to fold until batter is even in consistency.
- Fill the Muffin Cups
Fill each muffin cup halfway full.
- Bake and Cool
Bake for 15 – 18 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
