Brisket Sliders on Cheddar Biscuits Recipe
Cheddar Biscuit Brisket Sliders are the kind of party food that stops conversation the moment they hit the table — tender, smoky brisket piled onto golden cheddar biscuits with all the fixings that make every single bite worth savoring. These are the sliders that guests talk about long after the party wraps up.

Ingredients
3 cups Pioneer® Original Biscuit & Baking Mix or Pioneer Buttermilk Biscuit & Baking Mix
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 cup Milk
1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 bag (8.5 oz) Cole Slaw Mix, shredded
5 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 jar Pickles, round chips
1 small Onion, white, sliced into rounds
8 oz Brisket, sliced
These Brisket Sliders on Cheddar Biscuits are made with Pioneer Original or Buttermilk Baking Mix for the perfect cheesy, buttery biscuit base that stands up to every layer of rich, savory brisket without falling apart.
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Mix the Biscuit Dough
In a large bowl, combine milk, garlic powder, cheddar cheese, and Pioneer® Original or Buttermilk Baking Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead and Roll Dough
Knead the dough once or twice lightly and roll out to ½ inch thick.
- Cut and Pan Biscuits
Cut with 3-inch circular cutter without twisting. Place together—sides touching—on lightly oiled baking sheet.
- Bake and Butter Biscuits
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with melted butter then set aside to cool.
- Prepare the Coleslaw
While biscuits are baking, make coleslaw by mixing pre-shredded mix with mayonnaise. Set aside. Prepare round onion slices and set aside.
- Build the Sliders
Slice each biscuit in half, horizontally, and build each slider by placing 2 tablespoons of coleslaw on the bottom of each slider, followed by 1 ounce of sliced brisket, then 1-2 pickles and 1 onion ring.
