Ham and Pea Noodle Casserole is the no-fuss weeknight dinner that feels hearty and satisfying without requiring much thought — wide egg noodles and cooked ham in a creamy sausage gravy sauce with sweet peas, topped with crispy panko and Parmesan that bake to a golden, crunchy finish. This is the kind of casserole that gets better the next day as leftovers.

Ingredients
2 cups Water, divided
1 pkg Country Sausage Gravy Mix
2 cups Shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 (12 oz) bag Wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 1/2 cups Frozen peas
8 oz Cooked ham, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp Unsalted butter, melted
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
This Ham and Pea Noodle Casserole uses Pioneer® Country Sausage Gravy Mix to build the rich, creamy sauce that ties all the hearty ingredients together and gives this one-dish dinner its deeply satisfying, from-scratch flavor.
Instructions
- Make Gravy and Combine Filling
Preheat conventional oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Bring 1 1/2 cups of water to a boil in a large pot over high heat. Whisk together Pioneer Country Sausage Flavor Gravy Mix and remaining water in a small bowl. Pour gravy mixture into the boiling water, whisking constantly until completely smooth and thickened, about 1 minute. Stir in cheese until smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Add noodles, peas and ham, and toss to coat.
- Top with Breadcrumbs and Bake
Transfer noodle mixture to prepared baking dish in an even layer. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan and butter in a small bowl until combined. Sprinkle bread crumb mixture evenly over noodle mixture. Bake until bread crumbs are golden-brown and sauce is bubbling, about 25-30 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve. Tip: Feel free to use leftover cooked ham or deli ham!
