Cheddar Garlic Drop Biscuits Recipe
Cheddar Cheese and Garlic Butter Biscuits are the bread that makes every meal better just by showing up. Golden, fluffy drop biscuits loaded with sharp cheddar and brushed with garlic butter fresh from the oven — they are impossible to make without eating at least one before dinner is on the table.

Ingredients
2 pkgs Pioneer® Buttermilk Biscuit & Baking Mix
3/4 cup cheddar cheese shredded
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp garlic powder or 4 cloves chopped
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
These Cheddar Garlic Drop Biscuits use Pioneer Buttermilk Baking Mix for the perfect cheddar biscuit base that gives you that light, fluffy texture with deep, savory flavor in every pull-apart bite.
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
PREHEAT convection oven to 350°F.
- Combine Mix and Cheese
COMBINE Pioneer Baking Mix and cheese in bowl.
- Add the Buttermilk
MAKE a well in the center of the biscuit/cheese mixture and add buttermilk.
- Mix the Dough
COMBINE until all ingredients well moistened. Do not overwork the dough.
- Line Baking Sheet
LINE baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop onto Sheet
SCOOP 1/4 cup mixture onto prepared baking sheet.
- Bake Until Golden
BAKE until golden brown, approximately 12-15 minutes in a convection oven.
- Make Garlic Butter
PREPARE garlic butter by melting butter and adding the garlic and salt.
- Brush with Butter
BRUSH with garlic butter mixture when hot.
