Ingredients

2 1/2 cups Pioneer® Buttermilk Biscuit & Baking Mix
1 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
3/4 cup chicken broth
1 large egg beaten with 1 tbsp. water for egg wash
Poppy seeds, sesame seeds, onion flakes for sprinkling

These Homemade Black Pepper Pretzels are made with Pioneer baking mix for the tender, chewy base that makes these from-scratch pretzels a deeply satisfying and surprisingly simple snack worth baking on repeat.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat a conventional oven to 450°F.

  2. Combine Mix and Pepper

    Combine baking mix and pepper.

  4. Knead the Dough

    Knead 10-12 times.

  7. Bake Until Golden

Bake for 11-13 minutes, until pretzels are crisp and golden brown.
