Ingredients

3 lbs Beef short ribs
1 Large onion, diced
2 Large carrots, diced
1 1/2 cups Water
1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
1/2 tsp Salt
1 pkg Pioneer® Roasted Beef Gravy Mix

These Slow Cooker Beef Short Ribs use Pioneer Roasted Beef Gravy Mix to build the rich, deeply savory braising liquid that surrounds every rib with full-bodied, slow-cooked flavor and creates an incredible sauce worth spooning over everything.

Instructions

  1. Load the Slow Cooker

    Place first three ingredients in a slow cooker.

  2. Mix the Gravy

    Whisk together in a small bowl 1 1/2 cups water, thyme, salt, and Pioneer Roasted Beef Gravy Mix.

  3. Pour In and Cook

    Pour mixture in crock pot.

  4. Cook Low and Slow

    Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 7-8 hours.
